My Steadicam is a camera stabilising system consisting of 3 main parts: The Sled, Arm and Vest.

The steadicam sled stabilises camera movement by shifting and manipulating the camera’s centre of gravity through fine tuning balance, weight and inertia. The arm then isolates the sled from the operators movements through a set of springs, housed within a precision engineered chassis.

Unlike Gimbals, my steadicam does not rely on electronic motors to stabilise the camera, instead the work is done by me, the operator. This allows me to have full, precise control of the rig, like I’m dancing with the rig, rather than fighting it.
